Kawakawa is a taonga plant revered in Māori tradition for its healing properties. Combined with hemp seed oil, it delivers potent anti-inflammatory and skin-calming benefits from the very first ingredient.
Retinol Alternative + Antioxidants
Bakuchiol · 1%+
Clinically proven to reduce fine lines, boost elasticity and fade discolouration with the results of retinol and none of the irritation. Safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding and causes no photosensitivity, unlike retinol on both counts. The addition of whole Bakuchi seed oil, the plant Bakuchiol is derived from, amplifies its effect beyond the standard dose.
CoQ10 (Coenzyme Q10)
A powerful vitamin-like antioxidant that protects against free radical damage and supports cellular energy for visibly firmer skin. It's also what gives the formula its magnificent golden colour.
Vitamin E (Tocopherols)
Stabilises the formula and delivers antioxidant protection while nourishing the skin barrier.

A note from the founder and formulator
This is what "do less, expect more" looks like.
I used to have a full shelf: Sunday Riley, Drunk Elephant, Elemis, Dr. Dennis Gross - the lot! I knew what everything on the INCI list was and I had an opinion on all of them. Then I had a baby at 40 and my world tipped upside down. I didn't have time or headspace for any of it, let alone for "me".
Here's the thing about oily skin, mine included: it actually loves oil. I always knew that, but most face oils on the market were too thick, too heavy, not elegant enough for my liking. And they were too simple. They moisturised and stopped there, without doing anything for brightening or long-term skin health. YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE is what I wished existed: a silky, fast-absorbing oil that does the work of a proper active serum, not just a finishing touch.
It's the last step in the / FACE Ritual, following I WOKE UP LIKE THIS. Together they're what I use every single day.
